I know that you saw this last week but WOW! 4 days of school left. It's crazy, Just yesterday it felt like we were little 5th graders coming into a big scary middle school now we got this middle school down. As the school year starts to wind down so does the learning, we are starting to do less and less in class and more and more thinking about summer. As a student I feel myself starting to lose my concentration in class and find myself looking towards summer more and more. But we aren't just day dreaming in class we are learning to. In science this week we got to go on a nature walk to gather materials from trees, plants and many other things from nature, along with gathering those things it was also very fun to get outside and enjoy the sweet summer weather. But the walk was not just for fun we are going to do a project with these materials that sounds very interesting. I think that it's going to be one of our last bigger projects in science.

Because we are so close to being 7th graders I thought that I might talk a little bit about 7th grade. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit nervous for 7th grade. I don't know what to expect, will I like it? Will it not be as fun as 6th grade? How much homework? These are all questions that me and other fellow class mates are asking our selves. But as I think about it I've gone into 7 class rooms not knowing what to expect, so I think 7th grade will go great!

Comment below some of your cool middle school experiences!
Can you belay that school is omits out, It feels like yesterday we were just starting 6th grade. What we did this week is are mine lysine groups that was a lot of fun.  We get in to your gropes to make a slid show abut the cell that we like. Some did a song to show what the cell dos.  One group made a cake to show what there did. some made a salad because the salad  has cells in it. I think that the cells are rely cool. It was a lot of fun to see what the other groups did for the cell mine lysine. Mitochondria digest the food that the body eats. The cell wall protect the cell. The cell membrane it keeps the cell to gather so the cell dose not move or awed. chloroplast it is a cell in a plant.. think you for reading my blog. have a good day.

What we leaned the past week is that it is fun working with kids that are younger than you. We also leaned that you have to be nice to people that you don't know at all and you have to tart  them the same. When we worked with the 5th graders we all got to know them and got to see what they like and what they want to know what they want to do in life. When the 5th graders came to our school they looked universe so we tried our best to make them cuddled and tried to make them like 6th grade as best as we could. At the end of that day we hoped that they when home and said I cant wary for 6th grader.

What we have learned in Biology so far

What we have learned and done in biology is that we looked at onion cells and cheek cells under the microscope. When we did this activity we also reviewed all of the facts that we learned at the beginning of the year. We also reviewed microscope parts and how to safely use microscopes without hurting the equipment.

Another thing that we did in biology is a compelling question and debate about whether or not humans should live forever. We had watched part of a video about how scientists are making human organs that can live on their own. The video showed a heart pumping on it's own, and a pair of lungs that were breathing without a body.

We also did another activity called "Are You Ready to Save the world". This was a worksheet. In this worksheet we designed our own species, what they do, how they live, and where our species lives. We filled out that information on the front of the paper. On the back of the paper we drew our species of aliens doing all of the things that we described on the front of the paper. For example if our aliens haves spines we drew spines, or if they ate tacos we showed them eating tacos.

That is what we have done so far in biology. Thank you for reading this post. Please comment on this post.
